Skating has been a part of my life from the very beginning. Growing up in Connecticut, I was surrounded by the sport through my parents, both nationally ranked coaches in figure skating and hockey. I began skating at the age of four and quickly developed a passion for the ice that would shape my personal and professional journey.
As a competitive figure skater, I earned Gold Medals in Freestyle and Moves in the Field, became the Nutmeg State Champion in Connecticut, and competed through the Senior Ladies level. I trained in Simsbury, Connecticut under world-renowned coach Galina Zmievskaya, whose guidance helped refine my technical skills, discipline, and love for the sport.
My skating career expanded into synchronized skating at Miami University, where I was a member of both the Collegiate Varsity and Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Teams. During that time, I won two National Championships, competed in 10 U.S. National Synchronized Skating Championships, and represented Team USA internationally, earning a silver medal in competition. I have also performed in numerous ice shows including Symphony on Ice, Ice Capades, Hot and Gold Ice Show, and various local productions.
My passion for coaching began while attending Miami University, and I quickly realized how rewarding it was to help skaters grow in confidence, technique, and performance. With more than 20 years of coaching experience, I have worked with skaters of all ages and levels — from beginners learning to skate to competitive athletes competing nationally and internationally. I specialize in skating skills, edge work, power, balance, and efficiency for both freestyle and synchronized skating athletes.
In addition to figure skating, I coach hockey players of all levels, focusing on speed, edge control, agility, and overall skating performance. I was also proud to serve as co-coach of the nationally ranked Las Vegas Ice Theatre Team (LVIT).
Outside the rink, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Miami University and an MBA with a concentration in Sports Management from the University of New Haven, where I graduated with honors. I also earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the College of Southern Nevada with High Honors.
Beyond coaching, I have an entrepreneurial spirit and have successfully built, managed, and grown several businesses. When I’m not on the ice, I enjoy running, yoga, hiking, golf, baking, writing, learning new skills, and spending time outdoors. Above all, I believe in working hard, continuing to grow, and spreading kindness wherever possible.

I love the competitive aspect I get from running. While road races and skating competitions are inherently different, I have found that setting goals and training for races fuels my competitive nature. I am also a proud member of the UNFRGVN Fitness Track Club Marathon Team.

I value the mind-body connection I get from yoga. Practicing yoga has taught me many life-lessons that I have carried over into my skating and coaching careers.
