Skating History
Ice is in my DNA: both of my parents are nationally ranked figure skating and hockey coaches, respectively. I began figure skating at the age of four in my home state of Connecticut. I hold a gold medal in Freestyle and Moves In The Field, was Nutmeg State Champion (CT), and competed individually through the Senior Ladies division.
I trained in Simsbury, CT under the tutelage of world-renowned coach Galina Zmievskaya.
I was a member of the Miami University Collegiate Varsity Synchronized Skating Team, winning two national championships, member of the Miami University Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team and member of Team USA, winning a silver medal in international competition.
I have competed in 10 National Synchronized Skating Championships.
I participated in Symphony on Ice- a benefit show for Toys for Tots, Hot and Gold Ice Show, Ice Capades, and various local ice shows.
Coaching
I began coaching whilst a student at Miami University and found I loved sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport with students of all ages and levels.
I have over 15 years coaching experience – coaching students from ages two to seventy two - in all levels from learn to skate through competitive ranks. I work with skaters from around the world on improving their skating skills for freestyle and synchronized skating. My students have competed in National, International and World Championships (Synchro).
I was co-coach of the nationally ranked Las Vegas Ice Theatre Team (LVIT).
In addition to figure skating coaching, I also coach hockey players of all levels with speed, edge work, control, and overall skating skills.
I graduated from Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. I also hold an MBA with a focus in Sports Management from the University of New Haven where I graduated with honors and hold a certificate of Paralegal Studies from the College of Southern Nevada where I graduated with High Honors.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, I have owned, built, grown, and managed several successful businesses.
Aside from running and yoga and, of course, skating, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors and hiking, baking, writing, golf, learning new skills, and spreading kindness to others.
I love the competitive aspect I get from running. While road races and skating competitions are inherently different, I have found that setting goals and training for races fuels my competitive nature. I am also a proud member of the UNFRGVN Fitness Track Club Marathon Team.

I value the mind-body connection I get from yoga. Practicing yoga has taught me many life-lessons that I have carried over into my skating and coaching careers.
