"To be a good skater...it requires that you have the balance of a tightrope walker, the endurance of a marathon runner, the aggressiveness of a football player, the agility of a wrestler, the nerves of a golfer, the flexibility of a gymnast and the grace of a ballet dancer." - Johnny Heater
My philosophy is to encourage each of my students to reach their fullest potential both on and off the ice. I am passionate about inspiring and motivating all levels and ages of figure skaters. I work with skaters from around the world.
I take an individualistic approach to my coaching - no two skaters are alike and, therefore, each skater's learning style varies. I encourage a fun and productive environment in each of my lessons, reinforce positivity, and help build my students' confidence so they can reach their goals. I value hard work and work with my students to develop a mindful skater approach to skating.
My students have competed in National, International, and World Championships (Synchro).
